The founding principal for the second Purdue Polytechnic High School location in Indianapolis says the school’s mission is to make sure all students have access to a high-quality education. Plans for the new school, which will initially be located in a former Central Indiana Community Foundation building in Broad Ripple, were announced Tuesday morning. Charlotte Russe Bankruptcy Means Indiana Closure

San Francisco-based Charlotte Russe Holdings Corp. has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection. The retailer says, as a result, it plans to close nearly 100 stores throughout the country, including its location at Southlake Mall in Merrillville.

Former Director of ECHO Indicted on Three Counts of Theft

United States Attorney Josh J. Minkler announced today former executive director at Evansville-based nonprofit Echo Housing Corporation, Stephanie TenBarge, was arrested and indicted on three counts of theft around programs receiving federal funds. TenBarge, 71, will appear before a federal magistrate judge for her initial appearance.
